About Karara
Karara Capital is a specialist Australian equities investment manager with assets under management in excess of A$1B. The business is independent and wholly owned by its staff.
Our sole focus is delivering excess returns to clients from the Australian stockmarket. Our portfolios have significantly outperformed benchmarks since the company was established in April 2007. This builds on the successful long term track record of our portfolio management team which extends over 25 years.
Karara's Australian equities strategies are available to retail investors through our distribution agreement with Ironbark Asset Management.
Investment Approach
Karara is an active, style agnostic investor. We buy mispriced companies to build diversified portfolios that can perform well through the investment cycle. We take a medium term view and incur moderate portfolio turnover.
People
Our Melbourne based investment team of eight is highly experienced. The senior members of the team have worked together for many years.
Products
We offer two core strategies:
- a broad cap Australian equity strategy and,
- a smaller company strategy.
These strategies are offered to institutional and wholesale clients via IMA and Kararas unit trusts. Please contact us for our PDS and IFSA documents and unit prices.
Retail investors can invest with us via the Ironbark Karara Australian Equity Fund and the Ironbark Karara Australian Small Companies Fund.
