S&P upgrades Small Companies to 4 stars

Standard & Poor’s has upgraded the Ironbark Karara Australian Small Companies Fund (‘Fund’).

As stated in the Standard & Poor’s research report dated 2nd February 2012 “[The rating] reflects our high conviction that the manager will consistently generate risk-adjusted returns in excess of relevant investment objectives and relative to peers."
 
“[Standard & Poor’s] have a favourable view of [the portfolio managers, David Slack and Nick Greenway] and believe that as a specialist small-cap investment duo, they bring complementary skills to an investment process that provides them with sufficient flexibility to express their best ideas.”
